Q: Do you have the parts with you?
Yes! We keep all the parts needed to replace or add sprinkler heads stocked on our trucks, so most of the time we can take care of the work in a single visit without having to come back later. Of course, some jobs are bigger and may take longer, but we’ll always let you know when we go over the estimate.
Q: How much does this cost?
Adding sprinkler heads depends on the type of head and how far we need to extend the piping. The cost is anywhere from about $40 up to $330, and of course special circumstances or job conditions can change this. On this job, where we added multiple heads and made pipe revisions, the total came to about $675.
Q: What does the service include?
When we add sprinkler heads, it covers everything below the ground — the PVC pipe revisions, the new heads themselves, and all labor. Replacing heads includes brand-new heads, nozzles, and any underground parts that might need updating, like swing joints or connectors. All of our repairs always include both parts and labor — and if we happen to break anything while working on the heads, we’ll fix it at no extra cost above your estimate.
Q: How long does this type of repair take?
Many sprinkler head replacements or small additions can be completed in just a couple of hours. Bigger projects may take longer, but in this case we were able to make all the repairs and revisions the same day.
Q: Will my yard be a mess afterward?
Of course not 🙂 We will carefully dig only in the areas necessary and then replace the soil and clean up before we leave. Typically within a few weeks the lawn is fully recovered — and many folks tell us it looks back to normal even faster than that.
